In the first quarter, the national express delivery service business volume totaled 12.53 billion pieces, an increase of 3.2% year-on-year; business revenue totaled 153.4 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.6% year-on-year. Among them, in March, the national express delivery service business volume was 5.98 billion pieces, an increase of 23% year-on-year; business revenue was 66.91 billion yuan, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year.
In the first quarter, the proportion of express delivery business in the eastern, central and western regions was 79.8%, 12.1% and 8.1% respectively, and the proportion of business revenue was 79.7%, 11.1% and 9.2% respectively.
