According to data from the China Construction Enterprise Management Association, the total output value of the national construction industry in 2020 will reach 2,63947 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%. The construction area of ​​buildings nationwide was 14.95 billion square meters, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. The overall construction industry in China showed a steady and progressive development trend.
In the 2021 China Construction Enterprise Rankings, 17 companies in Beijing are shortlisted in China’s top 100 construction companies, 16 companies in Zhejiang Province, 12 companies in Jiangsu Province, 8 companies in Sichuan Province, Guangdong Province, Shandong Province and Jiangxi Province Each province has 6 enterprises, and Shanghai and Hubei provinces each have 5 enterprises.
On the whole, the number of shortlisted companies is basically consistent with the degree of economic development in each region. The more developed the economy, the more the number of shortlisted companies, and relatively strong market positions.
