2020 China Insurance Company Market Value Ranking
The China Insurance Research Institute released the “2020 China Insurance Company Market Value Ranking”. The list has conducted pricing research on 188 domestic insurance companies, taking into account factors such as the company’s comprehensive strength, financial status, management level, and competitive advantage, and sorting according to the market value of major insurance companies in September 2020 .

Interpretation of China Insurance Brand Value Ranking
The 2020 China Insurance Company Market Value Ranking shows that the total market value of the 188 insurance companies on the list is 8500.525 billion yuan. The total market value of the top six insurance companies on the list reached 47016.31, accounting for 55.3% of the total value of the list. This shows that the Matthew effect in the insurance industry is obvious and capital is mostly concentrated in head insurance companies.
In terms of market value, 17 companies in the ranking of Chinese insurance companies have a market value of over 100 billion yuan, 52 companies have a market value of between 10 and 100 billion yuan, and 37 companies have a market value of between 5 and 10 billion yuan. There are 75 companies with a market value of between 1 billion and 5 billion yuan, and the remaining 7 insurance companies have a market value of less than 1 billion yuan.
