National Fiscal Revenue Fell 14.3% Year-On-Year In The First Quarter

Data released by the Ministry of Finance on the 20th showed that in the first quarter, the national general public budget revenue was 4,594.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 14.3%.
Among them, the central general public budget revenue was 2,115.7 billion yuan, down 16.5% year-on-year; the local general public budget revenue was 2,282.7 billion yuan, down 12.3% year-on-year. The national tax revenue was 392.9 billion yuan, down 16.4% year-on-year; non-tax revenue was 695.5 billion yuan, up 0.1% year-on-year.
From the perspective of major tax revenue items, in the first quarter, domestic value-added tax was 1497.7 billion yuan, down 23.6% year-on-year; domestic consumption tax was 434.8 billion yuan, down 16.4% year-on-year; corporate income tax was 862.5 billion yuan, down 12.8% year-on-year; personal income tax was 335.3 billion yuan , A year-on-year increase of 3.5%; import value-added tax and consumption tax of 339.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 23.9%; tariffs of 59.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.8%; export tax rebates of 365.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27.9%.
In terms of expenditure, in the first quarter, the national general public budget expenditure was 5.5284 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.7%. Among them, the central general public budget expenditure was 717.3 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7% year-on-year; local general public budget expenditure was 481.111 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 7%.
From the perspective of major expenditure subjects, in the first quarter, education expenditure decreased by 7.1% year-on-year; science and technology expenditure decreased by 26.4% year-on-year; cultural tourism sports and media expenditure decreased by 8.9% year-on-year; social security and employment expenditure decreased by 0.7% year-on-year; Increased by 4.8%; energy-saving and environmental protection expenditure decreased by 15.1% year-on-year.
In addition, the data shows that in the first quarter, the national government fund budget revenue was 1,257.7 billion yuan, down 12% year-on-year; the national government fund budget expenditure was 1,197.4 billion yuan, up 4.6% year-on-year.
