China Maglev Technology Makes New Progress

CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. released news on the 28th that the first domestic low-speed maglev tourist line developed by the company-Qingyuan Maglev First Train has recently entered the stage of dynamic debugging of the whole vehicle.
In the commissioning workshop of CRRC Changke Co., Ltd., the first yellow and white maglev train traveled quietly, smoothly and comfortably along the maglev track, just like a cute dolphin flying “on the ground”.
CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. has participated in the development of many medium and low speed maglev vehicles including Qingcheng Mountain Maglev Train. In June 2018, the company won the bid for the Guangdong Qingyuan medium and low speed maglev tourism dedicated line project.
Qingyuan Maglev Train adopts constant-conduction magnetic levitation and short-stator linear motor traction technology, with a maximum operating speed of 120km / h. On the basis of drawing lessons from the domestic maglev train technology, the train has carried out comprehensive innovation and optimization of the suspension frame structure, suspension control system, traction efficiency, body materials, noise control, etc.
CSR Changke Co., Ltd. introduced that through the effective use of cutting-edge technologies of low- and medium-speed maglev, the maglev train has achieved a comprehensive improvement in acceleration, running speed, cornering ability, climbing ability, comfort, technology and environmental protection.
According to reports, CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. and relevant units started the research project of key technology research and test system development of high-temperature superconducting maglev transportation system in early 2019. This subject is an innovative attempt by China in the field of high-temperature superconducting dynamic suspension. Completed the construction of the world’s first high-temperature superconducting maglev transportation system test platform.
CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. is a rail transportation equipment enterprise that has earlier carried out research on maglev transportation technology and has rich operating experience. The company has developed test vehicles for the high-speed maglev test line during the National Tenth Five-Year Plan period, and completed the manufacture and upgrade of localized 500-hour high-speed maglev prototypes during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and the Twelfth Five-Year Plan respectively Renovation, the vehicle is currently operating on the Shanghai Maglev Line.
