Among the many models on display, Pang Shijun deliberately introduced the new generation of high-speed maglev trains newly built by CRRC Sifang to reporters. “Currently, the maximum operating speed of high-speed rail is 350 km/h, the cruising speed of aircraft is 800 to 900 km/h, and the high-speed maglev train with a speed of 600 km/h can fill the speed gap between high-speed rail and air transportation. The Internet has great technical and economic significance.” Pang Shijun said that as an emerging high-speed transportation mode, high-speed maglev has the advantages of high speed, safety and reliability, low noise, low vibration, large passenger capacity, punctual weather resistance, and low maintenance. Compared with the existing high-speed rail, the high-speed magnetic levitation is wider and has a larger carrying capacity. It adopts a ‘3+3’ seat layout, and a single carriage has 110 seats. The engineering prototype officially rolled off the assembly line in Qingdao this year and is expected to be put into use within the next 4 to 5 years at the earliest.

The CR929 passenger aircraft has a range of up to 12,000 kilometers

It is understood that COMAC is mainly engaged in commercial aircraft research, production, test flight and commercial aircraft sales and operations. “The C919 large passenger aircraft is a short- and medium-range jet civil aircraft developed by my country with independent intellectual property rights.
