From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 16, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 15 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases (6 in Sichuan, 4 in Shanghai, 3 in Guangdong, and 1 in Tianjin) Cases, 1 case in Shandong); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.
On the same day, 36 new cases were cured and discharged, and 581 close contacts were released from medical observation. The severe cases were the same as the previous day.
There are 334 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 4 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases. A total of 3,716 confirmed cases, a total of 3,382 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.
As of 24:00 on November 16, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 353 confirmed cases (including 4 severe cases), a total of 81,374 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,634 deaths. A total of 86,361 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 2 suspected cases. A total of 874,106 close contacts have been traced, and 13,995 close contacts are still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 12 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); 3 confirmed cases (all imported from abroad) on the same day; 45 medical observations were lifted on the same day ( 19 cases imported from abroad); 512 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (406 cases imported from abroad).
A total of 6,115 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 5466 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (5,198 discharged cases and 108 deaths), 46 cases in Macau Special Administrative Region (46 discharged cases), and 603 cases in Taiwan (536 discharged cases and 7 death cases).
