The list is based on entrepreneurs whose main business is in mainland China, and is sorted by their total cash donations and equity donations in 2021. In the end, Lei Jun topped the list with a donation of 15.07 billion yuan, followed by Wang Xing with a donation of 14.65 billion yuan, and Ding Shizhong ranked third with a donation of 10.137 billion yuan.

According to the 2022 China Charity Celebrity List, the total donation of the 100 entrepreneurs/enterprises on the list is as high as 53.110 billion yuan, and the threshold for the top 100 finalists is 10 million yuan. Since equity donation will become a new direction in 2021, the donation amount of 15.07 billion yuan from the first Lei Jun alone has approached the total donation of 100 entrepreneurs in the previous year (17.776 billion yuan).
From the perspective of donation amount range, there are 3 entrepreneurs who donate more than 10 billion yuan in China’s charity rankings, 4 entrepreneurs who donate between 1 billion and 10 billion yuan, and 39 entrepreneurs who donate between 1-10 billion yuan. Between 1 billion yuan, the remaining 55 entrepreneurs on the list donated between 10 million and 100 million yuan.
From the perspective of the company’s location, Guangdong has a total of 29 entrepreneurs on the list, ranking first in the country. Secondly, there are 22 entrepreneurs from Beijing, 10 from Shanghai, 7 from Zhejiang, and 3 from Jiangsu, Henan and Fujian.
