OnePlus Reveals Android 11 Upgrade Plan

OxygenOS product lead Gary C. just posted on the official forum that OnePlus is working hard to bring Android 11 customized system updates to old devices. It is reported that the OnePlus 8T model released late last year has been pre-installed with OxygenOS 11, bringing a fairly fresh experience to users. In the blink of an eye, in early 2021, OnePlus finally disclosed the OxygenOS 11 software update scheduled for other earlier models.

 
Gary C. said that considering that old users are full of expectations, they will work hard to launch the OxygenOS 11 software update for OnePlus 6 and later devices in 2021.
First of all, OnePlus Nord will usher in the first Open Beta version of OxygenOS 11 next week. Based on the feedback collected during the public test, OnePlus will make corresponding adjustments to the software. Until it meets the company’s relevant standards, it will usher in a phased stable release.
However, when porting Android 11 to OnePlus 7 and 7T series models, the OnePlus team also encountered problems related to data decryption. The good news is that through close cooperation with Qualcomm, the company is conducting a closed beta (Closed Beta). I believe that soon, OnePlus 7 / 7T series users will usher in the first Open Beta version of OxygenOS 11.
