Singapore Considers Easing Entry Restrictions On China

At a press conference held in the evening of March 31, Singapore’s inter-departmental working group said in response to a reporter’s question that China’s COVID-19 epidemic was under control and many provinces and municipalities continued to have zero confirmed diagnosis. Recently diagnosed cases are basically imported. Singapore has been following the development of the epidemic situation in China, and is considering the relaxation of entry restrictions on short-term visa visitors to Beijing and Shanghai according to the situation. These passengers can be quarantined for 14 days after entering the country.
Singapore currently prohibits all foreign short-term visa visitors from entering or transiting to Singapore.
