Non-Hong Kong Residents Entering Hong Kong Will Be Subject To Mandatory Quarantine For 14 Days

The Hong Kong SAR Government announced that it will extend the entry restrictions for non-Hong Kong residents into Hong Kong until further notice. The extended measures include: non-Hong Kong residents from overseas countries or regions are not allowed to enter Hong Kong by air; non-Hong Kong residents who entered the Mainland, Macau and Taiwan, if they have been to any overseas country or region 14 days before arrival Entry is also prohibited; the airport continues to stop connecting services; all Hong Kong residents and non-Hong Kong residents entering from Macau and Taiwan, like the entry arrangements from the Mainland, must undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days after entry.
The relevant measures were originally scheduled for 14 days until April 7. A Hong Kong SAR government spokesman said that the global epidemic of new coronaviruses remains severe. The number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong has more than doubled two weeks ago.
